Introduction of the rose 'Red Fire', 2022

The baptism of the rose 'Red Fire' took place on 26 August 2022 at the headquarters of Paul Wurth S.A., as part of the celebrations for the 150th anniversary of the company in 2020.

The modern shrub rose blooms in clusters of bright red double flowers, with a yellow heart, the edges of the petals being serrated. The plant forms an erect shrub with a height of 120 to 150 cm. The foliage is glossy dark green, the young shoots are tinged with bronze. The rose has a light perfume and wears rose hips in autumn. It is a creation of the breeder Ann Velle-Boudolf, LENS ROSES, Belgium.
