Introduction of the rose 'Lady in Gold, syn. Gëlle Fra', 2023

The rose 'Lady in Gold, syn. Gëlle Fra' was introduced as part of the centenary festivities of the Commemoration Monument 'Gëlle Fra'. The 'Gëlle Fra' Monument, created by the artist Claus Cito and inaugurated at Place de la Constitution in Luxembourg in 1923, was erected in memory of the Luxembourgish soldiers who died during the First World War. The 'Gëlle Fra' is a symbol of freedom and resistance for the Luxembourg population.

The floribunda rose, with soft yellow roses, created by the rose grower Ann Velle-Boudolf (LENS ROSES), was introduced on March 06, 2023, at the Ministry of State, Hotel Saint Maximin in Luxembourg.
