'Helix' was introduced on May 31, 2023, on the occasion of the inauguration of Post Luxembourg's new HELIX headquarters, designed by Metaform Architects, opposite Luxembourg Central Station.
In the presence of Pierre Zimmer, Deputy Director General of POST Luxembourg, godfather Shahram Agaajani, architect of the HELIX building, and godmother Isabelle Faber, Director of Human Resources, Public Relations and CSR at POST Luxembourg, baptized the rose 'Helix' with water from the Weierbaach, a stream that flows along POST's buildings in Cloche d'Or.
The 'Helix' rose is a robust, easy-care, bee-friendly ground cover rose bred by rose creator Martin Vissers (VIVA INTERNATIONAL, Belgium). Its flower has five white petals and yellow stamens. Flowering lasts from June to November. In winter, it is adorned with many rose hips. The perfume is subtle. Simplicity is what makes this decorative ground cover rose so beautiful. The 20-30 cm rose plant is suitable for a shallower soil depth and thrives in pots. Thanks to its exceptional characteristics, the Rose 'Helix' has been awarded in international competitions.
