On Saturday, September 13, 2025, the 'Amis de la Fleur Wooltz' celebrated their centenary with a warm and festive gathering that brought together a large audience at the castle in Wiltz. To mark this exceptional occasion, the new rose variety 'Aura Rose' was introduced, paying tribute to the association’s flourishing history and symbolizing beauty, passion, and continuity. The godmother Marie-Jeanne Weis and the godfathers Jos Crochet and Edouard Haupert baptized the beautiful bouquet. 'Aura Rose' is an elegant shrub rose, created by Jean-Lin Lebrun from the company MELA ROSA, remarkable for its continuous and generous flowering. Its double flowers, in a magnificent coral pink tone, have a light and delicate fragrance. The foliage, bright green, offers excellent resistance to diseases. The rose bush reaches a height of about 120 cm and produces flowers with a diameter of 6 cm. It is particularly suitable for planting in flower beds, where it brings a touch of refined color throughout the season.
'A Rose 4 All' received a GOLD AWARD at Rochfords International Rose Trials (GB), on 9th September 2025. 'Pétales de l'Amitié' was awarded as well.
On June 22, 2025, the rose 'A Rose4All' was baptized in Mertzig as part of the ‘Mäerzeg feiert 2025' festivities, celebrating the 175 years of the parish Church, the 150 years of the St. Cecile Choir, the 150 years of the Municipality of Mertzig, the 125 years of the Mertzig Fanfare and the 60 years of the Youth Firefighters. The atmosphere of the ceremonies on the eve of the National Holiday and the many citizens of the municipality present to celebrate their associations gave this baptism special attention. The godmother Carole Van Dam and the godfather Tun Lopez baptized the beautiful bouquet under the eyes of the mayor and aldermen, rose creators of Lens Roses, Rudy and Ann Velle, members of the council of Patrimoine Roses Luxembourg and members of local associations. The floribunda rose 'A Rose4All' is distinguished by its unique and changing color, a real spectacle for the eyes. Its semi-double flowers are born in a soft mix of yellow and orange, then gradually adorn themselves with pink hues as they mature. Grouped in generous clusters, they offer a fascinating nuances, in perpetual evolution, from the bud to full bloom. At the heart of each flower, bright yellow stamens irresistibly attract bees and other pollinators. The foliage, of a brilliant olive green, harmoniously completes the whole picture, while presenting a remarkable resistance to diseases, making this rose a choice both aesthetic and robust for any garden. The rose was obtained by Ann Velle-Boudolff from the company LENS ROSES, Height: 60 – 80 cm Flower diameter: 6 cm
