The hybrid moschata rose “Bonjour Luxembourg” is a supple, highly floriferous shrub. It blooms all summer long with enormous clusters of fuchsia-red pompon flowers. The colour softens as the flowers open. Its generosity makes up for its lack of fragrance. The rose looks stunning at the back of a border or combined with grasses. It is cold-resistant and can be trained on a trellis.
To mark the 1050th anniversary of the City of Luxembourg, the Association Grand-Ducale des Amis de la Rose (Grand Ducal Association of Friends of the Rose) presented this rose in 2013 to the capital, formerly known as the “City of Roses”.
