This elegant old tea hybrid with a contemporary look still appeals to rose lovers today. Long, tapered buds bloom into fragrant flowers in a bright off-white tone, warmed by a hint of straw yellow in the centre of the corolla. In cool weather, a delicate pink brightens the edge of the corolla. Light foliage adorns the long, supple, slightly reddish branches. This rare rose requires an airy, sunny location.
The rose's name recalls a rose exhibition that took place in Deventer in the Netherlands. However, there is no record of it winning a medal or prize of honour at this event.
