With a vermilion glow, enhanced by the gold of the stamens in full bloom, its flowers with a dozen petals bloom from June until the frosts, gathered in bouquets with a subtle fragrance, above bright green foliage. This modern shrub rose requires only routine protection against disease.
The “Ville d'Ettelbruck” rose was introdeced on 29 June 1985 at the “Le Luxembourg en Roses” exhibition in Ettelbruck. Nicknamed the “Gate to the Ardennes”, Ettelbruck is hosting the country's largest open-air agricultural fair since 29 May 1883.
