With their warm amber yellow colour, the buds of this floribunda rose bloom into turbinate flowers, then open into regular cups, releasing a pleasant fragrance. The roses grow singly on long stems, making them good cut flowers. Removing wilted flowers encourages repeat flowering. The dense, glossy foliage is sometimes affected by marsonia or powdery mildew. To prevent this, the rose needs a sunny, well-ventilated location. This variety has become rare and deserves to be revived.
The spa town of Mondorf-les-Bains is known for its mineral springs and its vast park, designed by Parisian landscape architect Edouard André, and features the largest rose garden in Luxembourg.
