The small double flowers are a deep old rose colour and bloom in clusters of up to 20 flowers. They open slowly and hold well in a vase. This lively floribunda rose is vigorous, easy to grow and flowers throughout the season. The variety adds a special charm to the garden.
The breeder Victor Lens (B) dedicated this rose to the Belgian princess Joséphine-Charlotte, who later became the wife of the Grand Duke Jean of Luxembourg. Another rose, an elegant white tea hybrid with slightly green buds, created in Melle (B), was presented to Grand Duchess Joséphine-Charlotte in 1989. This variety no longer exists.
