This vigorous hybrid rugosa landscape rose is covered with large semi-double corollas in a bright lilac-pink colour. Pointed in bud, the lightly scented flowers bloom in clusters on thick, rough olive-green foliage. Tolerant of light shade, this variety is popular in wild gardens. This easy-going rose is suitable for beginners.
In 2016, as part of the inauguration of the new rose garden at the Domaine Thermal de Mondorf-les-Bains (L), Madame Florence André, granddaughter of the Parisian landscape architect Edouard André, baptised this charming rose.
