This old climbing tea rose could just as easily be classified as a large shrub. It grows up to 2 metres tall, with bright green foliage that is somewhat susceptible to fungal diseases. Its elegant, full flowers, delicately coloured in soft pink edged with carmine red, give off a subtle fruity fragrance in early summer.
Nicola Gribaldo, a nurseryman in Padua (Italy), was a renowned rose specialist.
